The Philosophy of Nature is a simple, rational and harmonious conveying of age-old truths and understanding of reality. The concepts are logical, obvious, flexible and universal. This read can be a way to a new understanding of life closer to who we really are.
It would be beneficial for all of us if every human being had what is needed to be happy. This is not possible if our basic needs are not met: pure water, fresh air, a healthy environment respectful of all forms of life and other basic principles that are taught by nature. We live in a crucial era where humanity’s activities and consumerism is threatening the very existence of life on earth. Bringing forth a universal philosophy may lead to the attitudes that supply simple and effective solutions to the problems arising from industrial consumerism. For that to happen we all need to think long and hard what is required to change our way of life and take responsibility for our thoughts, words and actions.
To get there we need to look at essential truth in a context transcending regional, national, cultural, religious or political characteristics, so that all men can see this truth, participate in its realization and benefit from it. Obviously, nature can be used as a model to generate this unity since the laws of nature are the same everywhere. The verity that nature can teach us may lead to a radical transformation of our consciousness. This is the understanding the author is inviting us to contemplate.
