Mugwort (Artemisia Vulgaris) (also called Moxa, Black Sage)
Mugwort is used by First Nations as an incense or smoked as tobacco (our sticks are not smoked).
Placed in pillows, fresh mugwort is used to improve sleep, remember dreams and promote lucid dreaming. It is known in both North and South America as a plant for divination and spiritual healing.
As an incense, it is excellent for purifying energies and preparing for dream work. In Europe, it would be recognized as the master purification plant (like white sage here).
